烯胺酮(或1,3-二羰基化合物)和α-甘氨酸在乙酸酐中反应得到N-乙酰基吡咯的反应。

 (4). To 1 (573 mg, 2.74 mmol) in anhyd EtOH was added tetramethylammonium glycinate 2 (472 mg, 3.17 mmol) and the mixture was refluxed under Ar for 2 h. Evaporation in vacuo afforded 3 (yellow powder). Ac2O (7.3 mL) was added and the mixture was heated under Ar for 2 h at 150 ℃. Ac2O was removed in vacuo, aq workup (5% NaHCO3 wash) and chromatography (silica, CHCl3: hexane 1:1) gave 35 mg of 4 (58%).
